TIME IS ACCORDING TO EST. Our guest this webinar will be Ms. Lauren Ariev Gellman, the director of the The Pre-Collegiate Learning Center (PCLC). The PCLC is an alternative Jewish high school focused on personalized learning and utilizing various models of teaching to accomplish that. The webinar will explore the variety of online and blended learning initiatives utilized by the PCLC to achieve its mission. We will also discuss the successes and challenges with these models, ways they can be implemented in other schools, issues of cost effectiveness and more. E21: A Conversation Series about eLearning in Jewish Day Schools.

The E21 series will focus on online and blended learning in 21st Century Jewish education. Facilitated by Dr. Eliezer Jones, Educational Technology Specialist for the YU School Partnership, and Ms. Esther Feldman, Director of Information Technology and Financial Services for the Lookstein Center for Jewish Education, each webinar will host a new guest involved in the area of online and blended learning. The format will be an interactive Q&A format where educators can submit questions ahead of time as well as during the webinar. The goal of this series is to learn from each other in the field of online and blended learning, build our knowledge capacity and make an impact in Jewish education.

E21 is a partnership between the YU School Partnership and the Lookstein Center for Jewish Education.
