Meaningful, practical, easy-to-implement hands-on pre - and post- lesson observation mentoring techniques and strategies are presented in this webinar. The approach is descriptive vs. prescriptive that is, it describes to the teacher what the observer saw in the classroom in a non-threatening, non-evaluative manner. The observer does not prescribe what the observee should do; rather, the observee is invited to reflect on the descriptive data presented and draw his/her own conclusions regarding what could be done to enhance classroom learning.
